Jeff Minock | Founder

Coach Minock has 28 years of coaching experience.  He started his coaching career at age 19.  He was a Quarterback coach and Offensive Coordinator at both Howell and Brighton High Schools.  Coach Minock also coached Quarterbacks, Kickers and Punters at Concordia University in Ann Arbor, MI.  Coach Minock was a head coach for 12 years compiling a record of 82 wins and 32 losses.  Jeff was also a registered agent in the NFLPA, signing players with NFL teams.

Michael Brown | Board Member

Michael is the Vice President of Business Development at Amscan Inc. where he has worked for the past 5 years. Prior to Amscan, Michael worked for American Greetings serving as an officer of the company as the Vice President of Licensing for 17 years. He is a former board member of the Licensing Industry Merchandisers’ Association, the leading trade organization for the global licensing industry. Michael has an extensive background in the business sector, including over 30 years in consumer products, licensing, business management and development. Michael is a graduate of Howell High School and has two Bachelor of Arts Degrees from Albion College in Economics and Political Science. Mr. Brown is married and the father of three.

Dan Minock | Board Member

Dan Minock started his wrestling coaching career at Howell High School at the age of 19. Coach Minocks career spanned over four decades all at Howell High School. Coach Dan Minock is the founder of the Howell Jr wrestling program now known as the Howell Hurricanes wrestling program. Dan Minock won coach of the year honors twice in the state of Michigan during his coaching career. Howell High School's Hall of Fame is dominated by Dan Minock coached Wrestlers. Dan was also a very good athlete, Dan helped lead his College Baseball Team to place 3rd in the Jr College World Series.

Carol Murray | Board Member
Carol is a lifetime resident of Howell, Michigan who has given her time to developing Highlander athletes for over 20 years. Her coaching ability is multi-faceted. She has coached kids of all ages and levels, as well as many sports. Carol started a t-ball clinic for three to five year olds that allowed Varsity baseball and softball players to give back. She has coached basketball and volleyball at St.Joseph School for many years. Carol also coached the Freshmen Girls Volleyball Team for 18 years and is currently the Parker Middle School Volleyball coach. Her favorite part of coaching is when her former players come back and tell her how much fun they had and how they still cherish those memories.
